Within society public leadership counts. We know the challenges before us, related to climate, energy, biodiversity, equality, circularity. To take a step forward we need people with vision, the power to connect, create stimulating frames and above all credibility. We need the steward, in Ecosystem City® symbolised by the Black King.

This piece of chess symbolises the active role of organisations in the world of government, rules and regulations is there to take charge, guides, guards, is the steward, identifies, connects, shows compassion, takes care, takes the lead, welcomes all parts of society, strengthens cohesion. In this diagram the Black King Alliance connects the system world - the governance world of rules and regulation, taxes, products and services (Jet Black*) - and the living world of daily life, work and love in society, the world of personal and public values and lifestyles (Snow White*).

In this example the role of Black King has been taken by a non-profit organisation (Carrot Curl*) as main actor to protect nature (Forest Green*). *Pantone®

Serie
